Joining MSBO

For NEW members joining, review membership types, then click the Join button to the right of the applicable type to continue. NOTE: You must complete your membership before you will receive member rates on events.

For RENEWING members, sign in to your account and then click the orange Renew Now button.

Membership runs on a fiscal year (July 1 – June 30), is not prorated, transferable, or refundable.

ACTIVE — $150

Join


Active membership is for those employed by a Michigan school, college or university, or state agency. Membership remains with the individual. Eligible to vote and hold office. 

(SCHOOL) CONTRACT ASSOCIATE — $150

Contract Associate membership is for individuals not directly employed by a school or district but working in a school district in the capacity of an Active member; listed with school district information. Membership remains with the individual.

STUDENT — $32

Join


Student membership is for full-time college students not working in a school district. To verify eligibility, the individual must submit transcripts. 

EMERITUS — $32

Emeritus membership is for retired and former Active members. If you have retired and are renewing for the first time as an Emeritus member, please contact Lillie Rapelje to change your member type.

ASSOCIATE (VENDOR) — $150

Associate membership is for those employed in a business (not an educational institution). All Associate Memberships include a Vendor Directory listing. Membership remains with the company.

ASBO International:

Individual Membership: $299

  • Includes a 12-month annual individual ASBO membership.

Individual Membership+: $499

  • Includes individual membership, PLUS over 150 ASBO Learn courses, 60+ soft skill courses, Annual Conference & Expo recordings, and 15% off additional online learning tools

District Membership: $499

  • Includes a 12-month membership for an entire school district business office and related departments (no limit to the number of individuals).

District Membership+: $699

  • Includes district membership PLUS over 150 ASBO Learn courses, 60+ soft skill courses, Annual Conference & Expo recordings, and 15% off additional online learning tools

MAPT Membership - $160

  • Active Individual membership in MAPT
